OMSB MARINE SUPPORT BASE - ONSLOW WA.

Maritime Constructions achieved a major milestone on 19 October 2017, as the Onslow Marine Support Base (OMSB) achieved Practical Completion and was handed over to the Client. MC crew have been on site since 18 November 2016 to construct the 204m long sheet piled Wharf backed by 24,000 sq.m. laydown area and 36m wide Landing Craft ramp.
The wharf has since been handed over to Agility Logistics who are now the operator of the facility. Agility and OMSB held their official opening on 20 October to a crowd of around 100 invited guests (including a number of us from Maritime) and a ribbon was cut by the WA State Minister for Transport, Planning and Lands; Rita Saffioti.
